It's a nice change of pace to see a casual sunrise, and all the colorful flowers seems to enjoy the attention too. (I know you didn't get to finish them as well as you might have liked to though.) The spots and flares look like they're meant to be the after-images and spots we see after looking at something too bright (makes sense) but it makes the sky a bit "busy"; on the other hand, some of it does a nice job keeping some of the night sky in the picture. (And as always, I could be wrong about it anyway.)
Anyway, it's a very sweet scene, more heartfelt that it's a candid sunrise.
